Koders plugin

posted Thursday, 1 December 2005
Koders.com have made plugins available for Eclipse and Visual Studio (note they're still in beta at the minute). I've just installed the both versions and so far so good. It's certainly convenient to be able to just right click on a class and choose "Koders search" to find some examples. It's just a pity it isn't a bit more context sensitive setting the language option of the search to the same language as the one used in the tab you've just clicked in.

There's also a search view where you can type in searches. Don't expect anything special in the displaying of the results though - it just pops up as a web browser tab within Eclipse/Visual Studio returning the results.

The reminds me, I must try the docjar plugin...
